Franchi designers and gunmakers have combined tradition with technology to create the Highlander side-by-side shotgun, an upland field gun with the best features of innovative design and traditional craftsmanship. At the time of the company’s founding, more than 200 years ago, Franchi produced a top quality side-lock shotgun. Today, Franchi demonstrates the continuing spirit of fine Italian gunmaking with the introduction of the Highlander.

The Highlander represents the beginning of a line of side-by-side Franchi shotguns that are light, fast and reliable. Available in both 12 and 20 gauge, the Highlander side-by-sides feature a single trigger, automatic safety and ejectors and interchangeable, screw-in choke tubes. Weighing less than any comparable side-by-side shotgun, the Highlander has a lightweight nickel steel receiver graced with scroll engraving and upland field scenes to provide beautiful, yet traditional, styling.
The stock is cut from highly-figured A-grade walnut, and has a true Prince-of-Wales pistol grip. The stock also features cut-checkering and a traditional oil finish that complements the wood’s beautiful figure.
This Franchi shotgun blends style and performance by incorporating all the desirable features of more expensive side-by-side models in a way that will appeal to shooters at every level.

RIGHT: The Highlander features a single trigger for rapid follow-up shots. The blued trigger guard and nickel steel receiver bottom are embellished with fine, scrolled engraving.
