The 30" barrels of the Renaissance Sporting over & under are ported to control muzzle climb. They are fitted with extended, knurled chokes to facilitate easy removal and installation without tools.

An over & under whose design was inspired by the specific requirements of clay shooters, the Franchi Renaissance Sporting joins the Franchi family. When you shoulder one of these competition guns, it comes up like it was custom-made to fit.

The 12-gauge over & under shotgun features 30-inch, ported barrels with extended, knurled choke tubes for easy fitting and removal. The forcing cones on the Renaissance Sporting have been lengthened to ensure uniform shot patterns and to reduce back pressure and felt recoil. Weighing in at 8 pounds, this Franchi shotgun uses an extra-strong, stainless steel box-lock action capable of handling a steady diet of high-brass target loads.

The receiver is enhanced with scroll engraving and gold embellishments. The stock, cut from highly figured select walnut and featuring cut checkering, sports a traditional oil finish to complement the beautiful grain pattern of the wood. The stock is further enhanced with an adjustable comb and Franchi’s patented, recoil-reducing Twin Shock Absorber™ system.

LEFT: Located behind the top lever of the Renaissance Sporting is the multi-function safety, which serves as both barrel selector and safety.

CENTER: The Renaissance Sporting comes with a comb that can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically. An adjustment tool is included with each gun to facilitate correct placement for optimal fit.

RIGHT: The underside of the all-steel, coin-finished receiver is lavishly engraved with fine scrollwork. Engraved scrollwork also graces the gold-embellished trigger guard.
