Franchi Introduces the Affinity 3 Sport-Trap

The Affinity 3 Sport-Trap is designed for entry-level sporting clays and trap shooting, both in features and in price. Chambered in 3-in. 12-gauge, the semi-auto shotgun comes with a 30-inch barrel sporting a stepped vent rib and single bead. It is an ideal configuration for the novice shooter, allowing quick alignment and good head positioning. Barrel porting mitigates muzzle flip to facilitate follow-up shots, and extended stainless steel chokes are included. 

Experienced shotgunners understand that proper gun fitment is everything when it comes to establishing proper form and accurate shooting. To this end, the Affinity 3 Sport-Trap’s black polymer Evolved Ergonom-X stock system can be customized to the shooter via adjustable drop, cast, and length-of-pull. These critical points combine with a slender forend to deliver a shotgun that feels, mounts, and swings with confident elegance. Backing it all is Franchi’s TSA recoil pad. Engineered to reduce felt recoil by up to 50-percent, this pad is contoured to prevent clothing snag when mounting the gun. 

Smooth operation is further enhanced by oversized controls, which feature an enlarged bolt handle and bolt release that are easily managed even when wearing gloves. Underneath, a beveled loading port offers fast, fumble-free shell loading when the action is hot. As for reliability, the Affinity 3 Sport-Trap’s Inertia Driven system delivers unfailing cycling performance with every trigger pull.
